Privacy Policy
Who's Running 2028 (2028tracker.com) is an independent election-tracking site. This page explains, in plain English, what we collect and how to have your data removed.
Last updated June 23, 2026.
What we collect
- Email address - only if you sign up for field-change alerts. We use it solely to email you about the 2028 race.
- Automatic technical data - when you visit, our host and analytics tools receive your IP address, approximate location (country, region, city), device and browser (user agent), and the page that referred you.
Analytics and session recording
To understand how the site is used and improve it, we use third-party analytics that may include session recording:
- FullStory and Microsoft Clarity - record interactions (page views, clicks, scrolls, and replays of your session) and your IP address. These help us see where the site is confusing or broken.
- Google Analytics 4 (if enabled) - aggregate traffic measurement.
If you sign up for alerts, your email may be associated with your session records so we can provide support and understand sign-ups. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.
How we use your data
- To send the email updates you asked for.
- To measure, debug, and improve the site.
- To prevent abuse and keep the service secure.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run the site on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), FullStory and Microsoft (analytics and session replay), and Google (analytics). Each processes data under its own terms.
How long we keep it
Email sign-ups are kept until you ask us to remove them. Analytics and session data are retained according to each provider's default retention window.
Your choices and rights
- Access or deletion - email privacy@2028tracker.com from the address you signed up with and we will remove your email and associated records.
- Unsubscribe - every alert email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Opt out of recording - browser privacy settings, tracker blockers, and Global Privacy Control signals are honored by our analytics providers where supported.
Where data is processed
The site is hosted in the United States, and our providers may process data there. If you visit from outside the US, you consent to that transfer by using the site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page as the site evolves. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
